The team behind the likes of Chez Billy, Marvin and The Gibson have unleashed yet another trendy watering hole upon us with yesterday's opening of The Brixton. And while the interiors will seem familiar to anyone who has frequented the restaurateurs' other projects, The Brixton bears a British theme from the fish-and-chips-laden menu to what Thrillist calls "Old World touches like vintage photos of proper Englishmen."
The three-level bar and restaurant will be open weekdays from 5 p.m. until 1:30 a.m., though the main dining room downstairs will serve up until 11 p.m. Eventually the plan is to add a late-night menu from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., but that's not a go just yet. There's also a bar menu available in the main dining room or up on the second floor — what they're calling "the lodge." The third level just so happens to be a roofdeck, though no food will be available up there. As for the weekend, they're open from 11 a.m. on, serving brunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
