Think Local First Block Party; Dosas to Pop Up at Domku

U STREET—This whole week has been Think Local First Week and tomorrow it concludes with a Farm-to-Street party on V Street between 13th and 14th streets. Local 16 will be there with its wood-burning oven pizza, along with bites from Busboys and Poets, Ripple, Sonoma, Sweetgreen and others. PETWORTH—Come fall, Petworth's Domku is going to be playing host to a pop-up in the form of DC Dosa, a fast-casual Indian concept that won Think Local First's StartUp Kitchen contest. Per a release, DC Dosas will be "a ticketed pop-up with limited seating for 6 weeks on Monday evenings" starting in September, serving, duh, dosas. [EaterWire]

NAVY YARD—Also on Saturday, Stella Artois hosts a Taste of Belgium outdoor festival at The Yards Park from noon to 7 p.m. There will be moules, frites, waffles, Belgian beer and a Mussel Throw Down among chefs from Belga Café, Et Voila, Granville Moore's, Locolat Café and Brasserie Beck.
