In just mere hours, Cathal and Meshelle Armstrong will unveil the newest member of their restaurant empire — a second location for their Dublin chipper Eamonn's, complete with its very own cocktail bar from Todd Thrasher named TNT Bar. These two concepts will soft-open at 5 p.m. in Columbia Pike's Penrose Square development.

Yes, where the original Eamonn's has PX, the Penrose Square version contains the 30-seat TNT Bar with two lists of cocktails: one inspired by rock-n-roll artists and the other full of drinks borrowed from Thrasher's friends and fellow bartenders. Among the latter is The Brown Bomber, which Thrasher has borrowed from Jim Meehan at New York's PDT.

And while Eamonn's itself may be familiar to anyone who has visited the original Old Town Alexandria location, this new outpost will be a little different. The menu has been expanded to include dishes such as fried chicken wings, meat pies and Eamonn's Dream Burger, an ideal burger topped with salami, chicken and more, as created by the Armstrongs' son Eamonn. And, now, the full food menu:
