VIENNA—It's the third anniversary of Vienna's Maple Ave Restaurant and to celebrate they're offering a five-course prix-fixe of the most popular dishes from the restaurant's opening day. These including potstickers and Spanish dumplings, 1-2-3 shrimp and the bulgogi lettuce wrap. The dinner will be available tomorrow evening for $55 per person. [EaterWire]
BETHESDA—Oh well here's an interesting move from the folks behind Haven Pizzeria Napoletana. According to Bethesda magazine, they're launching "a mobile pizza catering business called Tomato Flyer Pizza Co." for pizza parties wherever you want them. The business should launch in February or March. [Bethesda]
FOOD TRUCKS—Shaw Living has a Q&A with Red Hook Lobster Pound owner Doug Povich during which he mentions some possibilities for future expansion: "We'd like to be in Alexandria, Baltimore, closer to the beach, and Annapolis. Eventually, we'd like to get into a bricks and mortar space. If I'm going to be able to retire I am going to need a bricks and mortar space." [Shaw Living]
