New, 4 comments

LISTICLES—Zagat names eight child-friendly restaurants in DC, including Comet Ping Pong, Kabob Palace and Matuba. While most of the picks are actually located in the wilds of Virginia and Maryland, Pete's Apizza and 2 Amys both get nods in DC proper. [Zagat]

H STREET—Sunday evening marks the debut of another new restaurant for H Street NE, a French spot by the name of Le Grenier. Urban Daddy got a look inside the restaurant that looks "a bit like your crazy aunt’s attic." Meanwhile, the Washingtonian notes that the menu will be a little more Northern France than the Southern French food at the owners' other restaurant Le Chat Noir. [UD, Washingtonian]

CLEVELAND PARKTravel + Leisure named their picks for the best Italian restaurants in America and selected among them is DC's own Palena. Obviously, the cheeseburger got shoutout along with Frank Ruta's "fresh ingredients, elegant pastas, and wood-fired pizza." [Travel+Leisure via -EN-]
