In the name of public service, Complex has added a list of the 25 Douchiest Bars in Washington, DC, to its collection of "douchiest bars" listicles in cities from New York to Philadelphia. It's not entirely clear whether this list is intended to steer readers away from the bars or straight to them, given that the magazine targets "20-something male consumers" and has created a list of bars mostly populated by 20-something men and women. But sure, let's take a look at these bars, several of which obviously reside on the Adams Morgan strip and within the so-called "herpes triangle."

1. McFadden's
2. Rumors
3. Smith Point
4. Lucky Bar
5. Grand Central
6. Town Hall
7. Mad Hatter
8. George
9. Recessions
10. Public Bar
11. The Town Tavern
12. Rocket Bar
13. Ibiza
14. The Greene Turtle
15. Club Heaven & Hell
16. Rhino Bar & Pumphouse
17. My Brother's Place
18. Sign of the Whale
19. Tommy Joe's
20. Cafe Citron
21. TruOrleans
22. The Front Page
23. Red Room
24. Shenanigan's Irish Pub
25. Old Dominion Brewhouse

So are those DC's douchiest bars? Ally Schweitzer at the City Paper's Arts Desk takes issue with the inclusion of Black Cat's Red Room, which she deems "bizarre" and perhaps the evil works of the "anti-hipster set." Schweitzer writes, "Should we start calling douchebags hipsters now? Are they the same thing?"

Feel free to ponder the list, douchebag hipsters, Complex and more in the comments below or go check out some very good bars.
