PETWORTH—Less than a month after launching a Kickstarter campaign, El Floridano's forthcoming brick-and-mortar shop Mothership has officially surpassed its fundraising goal of $30,000. So congrats on that one and stay tuned for updates as Mothership gets closer to opening. [Kickstarter]

BEER WIRE—The latest in 3 Stars Brewing Company news, the Takoma brewery opens to the public on Saturday from 1-6 p.m. for tours, tastings and growler fills. The Porc Mobile truck will be there to feed everyone, while growler jugs will cost $5 while fills range from $15-20. [EaterWire]
