Less than two years after opening its doors in Anacostia as a sign of a potentially revitalizing neighborhood, the Uniontown Bar and Grill shuttered on Friday after its owner pleaded guilty to drug charges first revealed back in November in a federal drug-trafficking case involving 65 kilograms of cocaine. WJLA reports that she pleaded to two felonies late last week and then the restaurant was evicted "because Dasher owed $18,000 in back rent." [WJLA]
