Thrillist's Leo Schmid on the Omnipresent Chris Schmid

Welcome back to Front & Center, a series highlighting front of the house professionals in Washington, DC restaurants. Right now, Thrillist editor Leo Schmid writes about Chris Schmid, a bartender at the New York Avenue Beach Bar and wine importer with International Cellars:

But more importantly, he's very well connected here in DC; he's hooked me up with some great local business owners & valuable contacts (a network he's established through his work with local wine importer International Cellars and Brightest Young Things). Then there's also the fact that he moonlights over at the Beach Bar. Basically, Chris always has someone new for me to meet, an awesome wine or beer to try, or an event to check out... Maybe it's just because Schmids rule?
