This September, tune-in to Kraut Rocks, a month-long, online and offline food experience putting sauerkraut at the forefront of our minds and mouths.
Former Top Chef contestant and DC restaurateur Spike Mendelsohn has rounded up a brigade of the most trendsetting chefs in DC, including Granville Moore's Teddy Folkman; The Queen Vic British Pub's Ian Reeves; Fabrice Reymond of Redline GastroLounge; Toki Underground's Erik Bruner-Yang; and Ryan Wheeler of Virtue Feed & Grain. The chefs will feature an exclusive kraut-focused dish on each of their menus for the whole month and diners can vote on their favorite to enter to win a slew of prizes.
