The New York Times has a writeup about the Spanish Studies program at the International Culinary Center in NYC where chef José Andrés is the dean. Said Andrés: "It may be thought of as fashionable now... but it's not some fad. It is here to stay." Other salient data: The ten-week program will cost $26,500 (it includes a "kitchen Spanish" class). The plan is to get it to a six-month program that costs $43,000. [NYT via Eater National]
