Tom Sietsema doesn't seem to like pretty much anything about Glover Park's Slate Wine Bar + Bistro except for its "pleasant setting." Not only is the bulk of the menu "a roll call of generic restaurant dishes," but Sietsema also finds the "meatless paella is a big bowl of arborio rice mixed with peas, bell peppers and Roma tomato slices: basically, a bland rice casserole." As for the wine? Sietsema writes that "even professionals will be scratching their heads as they peruse the list." [WaPo]
