Perhaps just in time for the beleaguered food trucks of Arlington, the DC Food Truck Association has announced plans to expand and become the Food Truck Association of Metropolitan Washington. The Washington Post reports on the expansion, which might also benefit DC trucks just in case they find themselves edged out of the city. Per Red Hook Lobster Pound's Doug Povich: "If D.C. does something draconian, we'd like to have the opportunity to vend elsewhere." [WaPo]
