This evening marks the soft launch of Cleveland Park's newest watering hole, Uptown Tap House. The Washington Post notes that this new project from the people behind McFadden's and Sign of the Whale — though it seems to be distancing itself from the former on both its website and in other interviews. There are a couple of events each night through Sept. 15 that are open to the public, but by reservation only. [WaPo]
