Watch Mike Isabella on His Diplomatic Mission to Istanbul

As revealed at last week's Diplomatic Culinary Partnership launch party at the State Department, the Honorable Chef-Ambassador Mike Isabella is the first member of the American Chef Corps to serve overseas. While on a research trip to Greece and Turkey for his upcoming Kapnos and G concepts, Isabella met with a bunch of local food bloggers, chefs and culinary professionals in Istanbul. Here's a video from the U.S. Consulate in which Isabella demonstrates his diplomatic prowess by talking about how Americans love eggs while sampling Turkish-style scrambled eggs, which he later deems to be "awesome."
