Yesterday marked the official unveiling of the new mural alongside the iconic Washington restaurant Ben's Chili Bowl. The mural celebrates famous people of Washington such as Barack Obama, Chuck Brown and DJ Donnie Simpson — and non-Washingtonian but famous Ben's Chili Bowl customer Bill Cosby. ABC 7 has video of the unveiling in which Ben's owner Virginia Ali tells it like it is about the city-led mural project: "We decided who would go on the wall. After all, it was our wall." [ABC 7]
