ADAMS MORGAN—The Washingtonian brings the news that neighborhood staple Cashion's Eat Place is unleashing a bar food menu on Thursday. The new menu will be available during dinner hours and includes dishes such as a pork burger with Gruyere, chicken liver mousse, salt-roasted potatoes and more. All are less than $10, but the restaurant plans to offer each at a $2 discount on Friday. [Washingtonian]

EVENT WIRE—The 10th annual Paella Festival gets underway today at local Jaleo locations. From now through September 30, each Jaleo location will have a rotating selection of paellas, including a paella of black noodles with octopus, another with Iberico ribs and cauliflower and more.
