Tom Sietsema gets around to Southern Hospitality for a First Bite review, now that it's been open in Adams Morgan since the beginning of the year. While he notes attentive service and generous portion sizes, Sietsema concludes that the newcomer can't touch Vidalia on Southern cuisine: "Pulled pork barbecue is so soupy it ought to come with a spoon. ... Of what I tried, the dish that most resembles its inspiration is probably that meaty jambalaya, each bite teasing with gentle heat." [WaPo]
