FOOD TRUCKS—Brace yourselves, Washingtonian, because tomorrow marks the return of Trucktoberfest, which basically involves just a whole ton of food trucks descending upon the Union Market for activities galore. There's going to be a microbrew beer garden, live entertainment, a children's activity center and, oh right, more than 40 trucks on hand. There's also going to be an opportunity to win 50 free food truck lunches for those who enter a bingo-like sweepstakes. [EaterWire]
UNION MARKET—The Washingtonian gets some more details on Gina Chersevani's forthcoming soda shop Buffalo & Bergen — namely, that it will feature knishes made by her Hank's on the Hill business partner Jamie Leeds. They're going to have five varieties at a time, including a breakfast knish, an Indian knish and a Thai knish. [Washingtonian]
REOPENING REPORT—The Washington Post writes that Capitol Hill's Lounge 201 reopens tonight as the 201 Bar and there are a ton of aesthetic changes to the place — plus the promise of a lunch service. As for tonight, though, there's free food and booze beginning at 8 p.m. [WaPo]
