BALLSTON—ARLnow has the update on Leek American Bistro, which is expected to open in Ballston in the early weeks of October. There are plans to include Virginia wines and a menu that includes "mussels, falafel crusted salmon, crab cake sandwiches, braised pork shank with white bean cassoulet and one of the popular holdovers from the BBQ Bandidos days — pulled pork and biscuits." MOVING VANS—Prince of Petworth reports that the West End Freshii has closed its doors and is moving to a new spot just north of K Street in about a week. [PoP]
SHAW—Once again, Mood Lounge has landed itself in a bit of trouble, this time for not complying with District officials' orders.
