WINE WIRE—Yes, there is such a thing as Redskins table wine and it is available not only at FedEx Field on game days, but also available to order online. The Washingtonian got its hands on a bottle for a taste test with folks from CityZen, including chef Eric Ziebold and sommelier Andy Myers. Quote Ziebold: "It's fruity and juicy. For a game wine, it's perfect. I'm surprised it doesn't have more alcohol, but that's a compliment. It's perfect for a tailgate party with brats and steaks. At $30 a bottle, I would buy it for the novelty." [Washingtonian]
BETHESDA—The original California Tortilla location on Bethesda's Cordell Avenue is moving down the street to the old Cesco Trattoria space next week. The plan is to have a soft opening on October 2 and then grand opening about a week later in this new space that offers more room and a bigger patio. [Patch]
ALEXANDRIA—Tomorrow evening, Jackson 20 hosts a canned beer dinner in celebration of Oktoberfest.
