Georgetown's Fino Moving to Shaw; Breast Cancer Bites

MOVING VANS—Prince of Petworth reports that Fino has closed its doors in Georgetown and will reopen on 9th Street near Mount Vernon Square. According to a sign on the door, they hope to open by the New Year. [PoP]

CHARITY WIRE—Chef Scott Drewno of The Source co-chairs this year's Breast Cancer Bites, a fundraiser in partnership with 94.7 Fresh FM to benefit George Washington Mobile Mammography Unit. Going down on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, this particular fundraiser involves a particularly stellar lineup of chefs thansk to Drewno's involvement. Among the big names are Eric Ziebold, Rob Weland, Todd Gray, Haidar Karoum, Kyle Bailey, Nick Stefanelli and drinks from the likes of Eddy Bar and Sidebar. Tickets are $30 and available online.
