Menomale Floods in Brookland; brgr:shack Shutters

BROOKLAND—The weekend's flooding closed down Brookland pizzeria Menomale, but the City Paper provides reassurance: yes, it will be open again tomorrow and the damage was minimal. [WCP]

THE SHUTTER—Those burger fiends over at Burger Days report that interestingly named brgr:shack has served its last patty in Ballston after about a year and a half in the neighborhood. Signs of the store's demise included a major menu overhaul and not such great service time, though those burger experts at Burger Days were fans. [BD]
