Word dropped last week that Rogue 24 chef/owner RJ Cooper is planning a project at the forthcoming Mosaic District, where he'll join the likes of Jeff Black. There weren't any details about what the restaurant he's planning is going to be, and now the Washingtonian learns more about what is not in store: former employer Vidalia, a bar, "sushi, Mexican, a steakhouse, vegan, Italian, small-plates, or seafood." But it will be seasonal and "familiar" so that should narrow it down. [Washingtonian]
