This September, Kraut Rocks is taking DC by storm in a month-long, online and offline food experience, putting sauerkraut at the forefront of our minds and mouths.
Revered by chefs and food-lovers alike, Top Chef alum Spike Mendelsohn plays host to the experience, serving as ambassador for his fellow restaurateurs and DC's emerging food culture at large. Check out the video above, featuring renowned chefs Ryan Wheeler (Virtue Feed & Grain); Fabrice Reymond (Redlight Gastrolounge); and special guest and local favorite, Mike Isabella (Graffiato, Bandolero), as they discuss the growth of the DC food scene.
