Here's a DVR alert for liberal beer nerds: Port City Brewing Company founder Bill Butcher will be speaking at the Democratic National Convention tonight at approximately 9 p.m, according to DC Beer. Butcher's just taking it to the next level, really, having previously starred in a White House video supporting a loan program for small businesses. So far in Charlotte, Butcher has practiced with a TelePrompTer and apparently plans to welcome homebrewer Barack Obama to the DC brews scene. [DC Beer]
