Sauerkraut Dishes Take Center Stage in Kraut Rocks
Kraut Rocks—the month-long, online and offline food experience putting sauerkraut at the forefront of the DC dining scene—is in full swing. Before the program launched, Top Chef alum Spike Mendelsohn, the host and fearless leader of the Kraut Rocks program, invited seven featured chefs to a test kitchen to prepare a kraut-centric dish and present it to his colleagues for review.
