Blind Tastings at Society Fair; Jazz Night at Bayou Bakery

ALEXANDRIA—On Monday evening, Society Fair hosts a "Drink Yourself Blind" wine tasting event. As you might guess from the name, it's a blind tasting of 10 wines — those who make the best guesses win prizes. This goes down at 7 p.m. for $40 per person. [EaterWire]

COURTHOUSE—The jazz lovers over at David Guas' Bayou Bakery are hosting a one-night-only performance from Grammy-winning jazz artists, including the Rebirth Brass Band and Preservation Hall Jazz Band, tomorrow from 6-9 p.m. Tickets include a choice of some New Orleans favorite dishes, sides, desserts and drinks and are available in $60 and $75 packages. CAPITOL HILLArt & Soul introduces a Saturday Suppers series tomorrow with a family-style meal featuring "coastal fare and botanical gin."
