Chris Bukowski says he's going to bring more ladies-friendly fare to his upcoming Bracket Room restaurant, but he isn't the first to try to up the food game at an area sports bar. There's Arlington's Thirsty Bernie, which tries to lend some Eastern European flair to its offerings, and the upscale-ish Velocity Five, to name a couple. NoVa Magazine picked up the trend this week, citing Bungalow Lakehouse, too. But Eater wants to know how successful these bars are at putting out interesting eats. So here comes the Friday open thread: What sports bar in the area serves the best food? Share your response in the comments section, or holler at the always-open tipline.
