Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Closes Clarendon Restaurant

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has closed its Clarendon location, after about a year of business. According to ARLNOW, the restaurant was one of two corporate-owned stores to close due to poor financial results.

That said, there are plenty of options for those who liked the chain. The Pentagon Row location is still open, and College Park and Penn Quarter outposts are planned, too.

Lime Fresh is a concept from the Ruby Tuesdays family of restaurants. The company has considered bringing some of its other brands, like WokHay, to DC. We'll see if that happens given the closure.

Update: Ruby Tuesdays won't be bringing these two brands to DC. The company is getting rid of WokHay and Marlin & Ray's, per this article.
