William Morris Will Replace Tony Chittum at Vermillion

New, 1 comment

William Morris is taking over at Vermillion once Anthony Chittum heads over to the upcoming Iron Gate Inn from Neighborhood Restaurant Group. Tom Sietsema shared the news today, and Neighborhood Restaurant Group has confirmed the move to Eater as well.

Morris has a resume that includes Michael Mina in San Francisco and Brasserie Beck here in town (he left the latter last April). NRG told Eater a couple months ago that he was doing some consulting work for the company. Chittum, for his part, is hoping to stay on at Alexandria's Vermillion through Valentine's Day.

The highly anticipated Iron Gate is shooting for an opening later this spring.
