They're also giving out keys to special customers, who can use them to access special events. Status: Certified open. 1141 Connecticut Ave. NW; website.
2) Capitol Hill: The newly-renovated Hawk 'N' Dove opens tonight. The restaurant has a sleeker look and new ownership, as well as local beers. According to The Hill Is Home, Xavier Cervera spent $7,500 to keep the original sign. Status: Opening tonight. 329 Pennsylvania Ave. SE; website.
3) Bethesda: Bethesda Magazine reports that Smoke BBQ opens for lunch today. Owner Martin Hage is offering house-smoked pulled pork, beef brisket, pulled chicken, macaroni and cheese and cornbread at the restaurant. Status: Opening today. 4858 Cordell Ave; website.
