'Female Friendly' Steakhouse STK Coming to Dupont

Restaurateurs clearly think DC's women need a "special" breed of dining experience. First there was Chris Bukowski's sports bar. Now comes an announcement that STK Steakhouse is opening at 1250 Connecticut Ave. NW, a "modern steakhouse geared toward females" with the tagline "Not Your Daddy's Steakhouse." From the release:

STK targets the female audience in décor, vibe and menu, featuring small, medium and large cuts of meat. While steak is the main attraction, STK also offers fresh seafood, salad and healthy sides for sharing.

This will be the eight STK location (they're in Miami, New York, Atlanta, etc.); they're from restaurant company The One Group. Steakhouse sexism aside, the decor looks pretty sleek. An opening date wasn't given.
