Foong-Lin's Menu Now Found at Moon Gate

Longtime Bethesda institution Foong-Lin, which closed its doors last summer, has reopened within Moon Gate Restaurant at 4613 Willow Lane. An employee answering phones at Moon Gate confirmed the change Thursday, and said the restaurant will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Foong-Lin, which operated in Bethesda for 30 years, lost its lease at 7710 Norfolk Ave. and had been looking for a new location. A Chowhound member visited there recently and reported a nearly identical menu to the former Foong-Lin, and said that the name will eventually change over. Some of the staffers have gone to the new location as well.
