1) Georgetown: Farmers Fishers Bakers is opening FirstBake, its coffee shop and bakery within the restaurant, next week. 2) Arlington: Frame that Van Gogh print, have some stroganoff. ARLNOW reports that Rus Uz, the restaurant located connected to a Ballston framing shop, is quietly open, serving cuisine from Russia and Uzbekistan. 3) Arlington: Also from ARLNOW: The Menchie's frozen yogurt location in Penrose Square is now open, which is Arlington's first from the chain. A grand opening party is scheduled for Jan. 12. Status: Certified open. 2405 Columbia Pike; website.
4) Woodley Park: PoPville notes that Cafe Paradiso has briefly closed for renovations, and will reopen in the same location with a new look tomorrow. Status: Re-opening tomorrow. 2649 Connecticut Ave, NW; website.
