1) Downtown: The first D.C. location of healthy restaurant chain Energy Kitchen has opened downtown. The restaurant, from VitaminWater co-founder Mike Repole, specializes in dishes that are baked, steamed and never fried. 2) Dupont: The bar of Mari Vanna, the highly anticipated Russian restaurant with locations in New York and abroad, has opened ahead of the full restaurant's grand opening Jan. 17, the GoG blog reports.
