Plenty of Beer at City Tap House, Coming in November

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Philly college favorite City Tap House will make its D.C. debut in late November, in a space that will seat 180 people. They'll offer 60 beers (more than 40 on tap).

The restaurant comes from owner Frank Falesto and will be located, as earlier reported, in the former 901 Restaurant space. They'll be open for lunch, dinner and brunch. On the food front, they'll be serving appetizers, mussels, brick oven pizzas, some entrees, salads and sandwiches. They also do daily specials, like Southern food on Mondays and roasts on Wednesdays.

As far as the beer is concerned, there will be a mix of local, international and regional brews. Non-beer drinkers can turn to the wines and cocktails. Streetsense is designing the space with an open kitchen, big windows, exposed wood beams and other touches.
