When it comes to D.C.-area restaurants, Maryland-based locations often finish last. They are few and far between on the Eater 38 right now. Tom Sietsema only named one to his Fall Dining Guide this year, and it's all the way out in Baltimore. And Maryland isn't known for sweeping the Rammy Awards, either. Is the nearby state being slighted? This week's Open Thread asks, "What's Your Favorite Maryland Restaurant?" It can be an expensive destination or an underrated hole-in-the-wall, but bonus points if it's in Prince George's or Montgomery County, where Eater concentrates its coverage.
