NATIONAL HARBOR— Intriguing. If MGM's bid is the one accepted for the casino coming to National Harbor, it may end up featuring a restaurant from the Voltaggio brothers, according to the Going Out Guide. There are a lot of "ifs" involved, though — the casino company may not be the successful bidder, and it's unclear what kind of hands on involvement either Bryan Voltaggio or West Coast chef Michael Voltaggio would have on the operation. ALEXANDRIA— Newish Alexandria restaurant Osteria Marzano plans to offer half-priced wine night on both Sunday and Monday evenings. All bottles $80 or lower are eligible. [EaterWire]
COLUMBIA HEIGHTS— A reminder that this Sunday is The Heights' "closing sale". Everything's half off (food, beer, the works) before the bar and restaurant closes briefly for a refresh. [-EDC-]
