1) Bethesda: Here comes ShopHouse Number 3 for the region. The latest location of Chipotle's Asian-inspired sister restaurant is located at 4820 Bethesda Ave. The restaurant serves up noodle bowls, rice bowls and other customizable dishes with a Southeast Asian flair. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Status: Opening today. 4820 Bethesda Ave., Bethesda, Md., website.

2) McLean: Sweetgreen's latest location opens today as well, and that means cheap salad for the first guests. Anyone who buys lunch there today can pay what they want from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and proceeds go to Freshfarm Markets. Regular hours begin Thursday. The store's design is environmentally friendly, with tables and benches from reclaimed wood and other design touches familiar to sweetgreen's customers. Status: Opening today. 6707 Old Dominion Drive, McLean, Va.; website.

3) Tysons Corner: B.J.'s Brewhouse opens today as well. The Washington Business Journal has more details: the chain restaurant features a menu of 17 beers brewed in-house and a varied menu of dishes like loaded baked potatoes and pasta. The chain, whose "pizookie" desserts have a cult following, is planning further locations in the area, with another lease signed in Gainesville. Status: Opening today. 8027 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Va.; website.
