Urban Butcher to Silver Spring; Takeout Pizza Options

SILVER SPRINGBig news for Silver Spring from Tim Carman. A restaurant called Urban Butcher is being planned for the neighborhood from Black & Orange's Raynold Mendizabal. The menu will feature both shareable plates and big cuts, like a whole lamb or a whole pig. [WaPo]

ALEXANDRIA— Fans of strong ales should check out Rustico's Novemberfest this weekend. The event, held outdoors at the Alexandria location, is $5 for admission (it's more for food and drink tickets). There will be more than 50 beers available, as well as food items. The event runs Saturday from 12-5 p.m. [EaterWire]

WEST END— Roger Daltry of The Who and Nicholas Soames (Winston Churchill's grandson) were spotted at Rasika West End, according to a rep. They dined in a private room along 5-6 other guests.
