Hangover Power Hour

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Blackjack's E. Jay Apaga says he used to frequently talk to a nutritionist in college about what a hangover is, and her recommendation was fruit juice and lots of liquids. In theory, fruit juice helps to reinvigorate the enzymes in your stomach and help you digest the leftover stuff in your gut which your body failed to get rid of the night before while it was constantly filtering out alcohol, he explains. "It might make for a couple of early bathroom breaks but you end up feeling much better." [EaterWire]
