Palena Gives Cleveland Park a Reason to Get Up Early

It's here. Palena has opened a coffee shop in its former cafe space. The cafe opens daily at 7 a.m., serving up baked goods like scones, croissants and more (the restaurant has been Tweeting tempting-looking photos of its spread this morning, which also includes bagels and egg dishes). Pastry chef Aggie Chin is responsible for the sweet treats, and there is, of course, coffee available as well.

On the opening coffee menu are traditional items including Americanos, cappucinos and pour over coffees, as well as hot chocolate and teas. The coffee shop will be open seven days a week.
