Shawshuck Redemption is Back; Cirque Cuisine Closes

U STREET— PoPville has the scoop on what will be replacing the now-closed Tabaq Bistro. The restaurant has changed hands and will reopen as Newtown Kitchen. The restaurant will be New American, with drinks from mixologist Seembad Jaudally. [PoP]

FOOD TRUCKSCirque Cuisine is retiring its food truck, according to Food Truck Fiesta. The truck's owners cited government regulations as the reason for the closure. [FTF]
