Wondering what to do with that extra grand or two? Consider Minibar for New Year's Eve. The exclusive José Andrés restaurant has released reservations for two seatings on the holiday, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The earlier seating is $275 per person (not including wine pairings) and the later one is $350 per person (Minibar's normal base priceline is $225 per head).

Diners who go for the reservation will get a champagne toast, access to Barmini's party, dishes like "parmesan canale" and "Vietnamese pig ear," and a tasting of Château d'Yquem's "Liquid Gold." José's Table, which is priced at a $3,000 minimum for up to six guests, is also available for the evening. Those interested can book a table by using reserve@minibarbyjoseandres.com.

Barmini has its own event going on, priced at $275 per person. There will be a D.J., a mix of Prohibition-era and modern cocktails and deviled eggs topped with sea urchin. Reservations for that event can be made by emailing barmini@minibarbyjoseandres.com.
