When Pricey Gets Pricier: Minibar on New Year's Eve

Wondering what to do with that extra grand or two? Consider Minibar for New Year's Eve. The exclusive José Andrés restaurant has released reservations for two seatings on the holiday, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The earlier seating is $275 per person (not including wine pairings) and the later one is $350 per person (Minibar's normal base priceline is $225 per head).

Diners who go for the reservation will get a champagne toast, access to Barmini's party, dishes like "parmesan canale" and "Vietnamese pig ear," and a tasting of Château d'Yquem's "Liquid Gold."
