BETHESDA— Max Brenner, the chocolate-themed restaurant, has closed its doors temporarily. A reader sent a photo to the tipline; there's signage on the door saying, "We're currently improving your chocolate experience! ...Stop Back Soon and See What We've Been Up To." A spokeswoman says the changes are just a few minor design and back of house renovations — they'll be open again tomorrow night. [Tipline]
K STREET— Newton's Noodles will launch breakfast on Dec. 2, with service starting at 7 a.m. There will be customizable options like a build-your-own omelette or scramble, as well as dishes like a Loco Moco or Pattycake. The company will launch catering next month as well. [EaterWire]
GEORGETOWN— Making a turducken is a lot of work. Let Bourbon Steak do it for you. The restaurant will offer a sandwich stuffed with the three bird monstrosity, from Black Friday until New Year's Day. It's filled with turkey, duck sausage, chicken, gravy mayonnaise, arugula, Meyer lemon and craisins. [EaterWire]
