NORTHEAST— Union Market's extending its hours again. The destination will move to a six-days-per-week schedule, including Tuesdays, beginning next week. Chef John Mooney, Harvey's Market and Rappahannock Oyster Bar will host cooking demos throughout the day Nov. 12 to mark the change. [EaterWire]
RUMORMONGERING— Is El Centro coming to Shaw? An ANC commissioner tells PoPville as much. This would jive with Richard Sandoval's comments to Eater back in August that he's opening up something Mexican on 7th Street NW, but a rep didn't return a request for further information today. [PoP]
PARK VIEW— Young & Hungry has a look at Park View Patio, which replaces Blue Banana at 3632 Georgia Ave. NW. It's got a huge outdoor space, movable bars and plenty of picnic tables. No kitchen yet, though. [WCP]
