RUMORMONGERING— PoPville posts some intel on which restaurants might be coming to the City Market at O project, but the possibilities seem suspect at this time. He claims Philadelphia Chef Kevin Spraga, as well as a restaurant from the Mintwood Place team, are candidates. A spokesman for the project says neither has signed (Sbraga is looking around in D.C. right now). Cedric Maupillier of Mintwood Place says it isn't happening, but "If somebody out there wants to spare a couple of millions I am up to any challenges," the chef said via email. Young & Hungry also does some digging and gets a "no" from Sbraga's publicist and Mintwood's owner. [PoP, WCP, EaterWire]
BALTIMORE— D.C.'s own Cava Mezze is expanding outside its comfort zone. The Baltimore Business Journal reports a restaurant from the company is headed to Harbor East. [BBJ]
ARLINGTON— Hungover folks in Rosslyn Sunday morning might turn to Piola to soothe them. The restaurant is launching its "No Limit" pizza brunch this Sunday (a similar deal already exists at the D.C. location). It's $15.95 ($7.95 for kids) for unlimited pizza; and add pitchers of sparkling drinks for an additional $14.95. [EaterWire]
