PENN QUARTER— Poste's Winter Lounge is now open. The restaurant's swank, heated outdoor area is a particular hit at happy hour. They'll be serving several hot cocktails like the Pimandes, a bourbon-spiked hot chocolate, and a Which Cider the Aisle?, a spiced cider. There are wintery snacks like fondue available as well. The lounge will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 4 p.m. to close throughout the winter. [EaterWire]
DEL RAY— For those diners who have thought to themselves, "This cheeseburger is delicious. I just wish it were gold," Holy Cow had the burger for you. At least, briefly. Burger Days profiles the Del Ray restaurant's gilded cheeseburger, with a gold bun (no ultra-fancy ingredients like foie gas, though). It was served at the restaurant's anniversary party. [BD]
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS— Luke's Lobster is adding two lobster-spiked dishes to its menu this winter. The lobster grilled cheese is making a comeback, and this year they're adding a lobster mac and cheese as well. The new dish will make its debut at District Flea this weekend and show up on the mini-chain's regular menu Tuesday. [EaterWire]
