Don Lencho, Del Ray Restaurant, More Coming

GCDClogo2.png1) Del Ray: No name yet, but Patch reports that plans for a restaurant are being floated for 2309 Mount Vernon Ave. in Del Ray. The place would serve sandwiches, salads and gelato (there is no exhaust system for cooked food fumes). [PLYWOOD]

2) Manassas: Washington Business Journal reports that a new Mexican and Salvadoran place from the owners of Guajillo will open at 9116 Mathis Avenue. Don Lencho is the name, and plans are to serve some traditional, relatively unknown Salvadoran dishes as specials. [PLYWOOD]

3) Farragut: PoPville has an update on GCDC, the grilled cheese bar coming to 1730 Pennsylvania Ave, NW. Early 2014 is the goal for the grilled cheese specialists. They'll also have tater tots. Here's their Facebook page, which has some food photos. [PLYWOOD]

4) Tysons Corner: The next location of Cleveland-area transplant Paladar Kitchen + Rum Bar is poised to open at Tysons next spring, according to a press release. The 185-seat restaurant will be located at the intersection of at Leesburg Pike and Old Gallows Road. [PLYWOOD]
